Founder of Your Nutrition Delivered offers healthy catering to the decadent city of New Orleans

Revered as the father of Western medicine, Hippocrates wisely preached the benefits of a healthy, balanced diet. He believed that most human ailments were caused by poor food choices and that many could be helped, even cured, by improving your diet. As a Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and President of Your Nutrition Delivered, Erik Frank embodies this philosophy.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Frank has long been the model of health. He played football at Country Day in Metairie and went on to power lifting at University of Southern Mississippi while studying Kinesthesiology. Frank has been a Certified Personal Trainer since 2001 and has worked at both The New Orleans Athletic Club and St. Charles Avenue Athletic Club. A few years ago, he won the American Power lifting Association’s National Championship, setting a meet record with a 462 pound bench press.

Inspired by his wife, partner and “inspiration” Rebecca, a Registered Nurse at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, Frank hatched the “Big Idea” award-winning business plan, Your Nutrition Delivered. After helping so many individuals struggling with weight loss and healthy eating, Frank created “a dietician designed, chef created meal plan delivered to your door.” Based in the belief that blood sugar stabilization is key, Frank’s staff of professional chefs prepare tasty, fresh fully-cooked lunch and dinners following a calorie-specific, personally customized menu that also allows for dietary restrictions such as gluten and lactose intolerance.

Frank created Your Nutrition Delivered to be “a health and wellness resource,” a food solution that can work alongside other businesses to offer convenient, healthy cuisine for their employees. It’s also a source for individuals who seek to eliminate the guesswork of counting calories and reading labels without sacrificing flavor and freshness with a menu designed to prevent your body from storing excess calories. Dieters can enjoy flavorful, fresh dishes like Jamaican Jerk Chicken topped with pineapple salsa, Shrimp Summer Salad with kale, cucumbers and tomatoes, and Miso-Glazed Gulf Fish with sesame stir-fried greens.
