In an effort to give back to the community in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, French Quarter restaurant Palm & Pine will be celebrating Mexican Independence Day this evening with the team from El Buho Mezcal behind the bar and food specials added to the menu like Chiles en Nogada and Tamales.
All of the proceeds raised from El Buho’s specialty cocktail are being donated to Free ALAS, an organization currently raising funds for undocumented residents in our community who are not eligible for FEMA relief from Hurricane Ida.
Reservations are encouraged and proof of vaccination or negative COVID test are required.
